Dr. Elisabeth Bezemer, DOM, is a Florida-licensed Acupuncture Physician with over 3,000 hours of formal training. She earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor of Health Science from East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida.
During her clinical residency at the EWCNM Health Clinic, she gained extensive hands-on experience, and further advanced her studies through an internship at the prestigious Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China — training under leading TCM doctors specializing in weight loss and endocrinology.
Before beginning her medical path, Elisabeth was educated as a fashion designer and has been an artist throughout her life. Her fascination with Taoist philosophy — particularly the interplay of energy and matter — led her to begin studying Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2003.
Over the past 21 years, she has immersed herself in Chi Nei Tsang (organ chi massage), Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Healing Tao meditations — practices that have influenced not only her clinical approach but also her art, bridging the healing of body and spirit.

Her work as both a practitioner and an artist reflects the deep respect she holds for the healing traditions of the East — and her belief that body, mind, and spirit are inseparable dimensions of a single whole.
Dr. Bezemer is also certified in Acupuncture Injection Therapy (AIT), Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), Clean Needle Technique (CNT), and CPR.
Her background as an artist gives her clinical practice a quality that is difficult to teach: the ability to truly see. To observe the patterns in a person's health the way a painter observes color, tension, and balance on a canvas. To bring both precision and intuition to each session.
